SKOKIE, Ill. - May 2, 2019 - illiNews -- This May, Alex Freund celebrates his 30^th anniversary as a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual – Greater Chicago based in Skokie, Illinois.

Freund joined Northwestern Mutual in 1989 as Financial Representative. He is part of a network of specialists offering a wide array of products, expert guidance and innovative solutions to a variety of financial needs and goals.

"Helping clients achieve their financial goals has been extremely rewarding," says Freund. "Knowing I have helped families successfully plan to send a child to college, have a secure retirement or  leave behind a strong financial legacy makes my role very gratifying."

Freund holds the CFP®, CLU®, and CPA® designations and has earned the following awards and honors: National Association of Insurance Financial, Million Dollar Round Table Qualifying / Life Member: 2005-2013, Million Dollar Round Table Life Member: 2005-2013, and NAIFA Quality Award, 2011-2013.

Freund is a native of Lincolnwood, Illinois. He received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign. He currently lives in Northbrook with his wife, Susan, and their three children, Ilana, Adam, and Jenna. He is a member of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, Emeritas Board Member (and Past President) of the Center for Enriched Living, and serves with Habitat for Humanity.
