The indie pop singer songwriter took the stage at the local favorite
CHICAGO - illiNews -- Sharika, a song writer and performer from the Northside entertained audiences with originals and cover songs at the Chicago Food Truck Festival. Her set featured classics like 'Spirit in the Sky' as people found fresh new foods from around the world.
The Chicago Food Truck Festival boasts hundreds of local and out of state vendors in perhaps one of the biggest foodie havens in the city. The main stage located to the west end of the festival has been home to live performances for several years.

A native Illinoisan Sharika has performed at live venues in Chicago and Her hometown Naperville for over 7 years. Most of her performances take place at charity events or venues and include her original compositions along with cover songs.
Sharika plays the piano, sings, and features other artists in her work. Her first full length album is set to release early in 2022 after the successful debut of her EP, Love is My Religion. She is best known for her cameo in the fil Supersize me and as a finalist in the Ms.Chicago beauty pageant.
