Sidley has been at the forefront of the high-speed passenger rail movement, serving as counsel to privately developed high-speed rail projects throughout the United States. Sidley offers "one-stop-shop" service that combines the firm's expertise in rail transportation, corridor development, project finance, regulatory and environmental law. The firm leverages its extensive experience to assist high-speed rail clients in finding creative solutions to the unique issues faced by such projects.
Sidley's Terry Hynes has been an advocate for regulatory reforms to promote private investment in the high-speed rail sector.
