POPLAR GROVE, Ill. - illiNews -- The Lovecraftian cosmic horror film The Others: Doom from the Stars, distributed by Blood Pact Films, is getting the novelization treatment. The film marks the debut feature from director Gary Hill and is set for release on streaming platforms and physical media. Pre-orders for physical discs are now live at BloodPactFilms.com.
Set in 2065, the film presents a future that feels familiar. Technology has advanced and global
systems have evolved, but human culture hasn't changed much since the 2020s. When a deep space station detects a mysterious object and launches a probe toward it, contact is lost. Transmissions stop. People begin hearing voices in their sleep. Something is coming for
humanity, and its intent remains unknown.
Told in part through podcasts and fragmented media, the story focuses on the human response as events unfold and information spreads.
