CHICAGO ~ Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has announced the appointment of Ray Giderof as the new Executive Director of the Public Building Commission (PBC). Giderof, who has been serving as the Acting Executive Director, brings over three decades of experience in complex project delivery and 25 years of dedicated service to the PBC.

In his new role, Giderof will continue to lead the PBC's efforts in building communities through collaboration, providing inclusive opportunities, and driving economic development throughout Chicagoland. Mayor Johnson expressed confidence in Giderof's abilities, stating that his track record of successfully overseeing billions in capital investments and commitment to building stronger communities make him the ideal candidate for the position.

Giderof's extensive experience with the PBC makes him well-equipped to take on this new role. He has advanced through numerous operational and leadership positions during his 25 years with the organization.
