LOS ANGELES - illiNews -- Fox&Summit® today introduced the Wi-Fi Vibration Sensor for those seeking additional layer of home security or sensing capability. The new smart sensor from Fox&Summit® is a welcome addition to its growing range of sensors, smart plugs, and smart lighting that encourages a simpler, connected home experience.

The Fox&Summit® Vibration Sensor is designed with utility and aesthetic sensibility to fit in any room. Minimal markings on the device allow the sensor to be placed anywhere in home without drawing attention to itself. Subtle design details include a new button for easier pairing and an LED indicator light lets consumers visually know the connection status of the sensor.

The Wi-Fi Vibration Sensor senses movement through a G sensor and comes with a built-in chime that provides an audible alert for immediate notifications to anyone at home. The installed sensor immediately monitors when a window or glass panel is moved or shattered.

The Fox&Summit® Vibration Sensor leverages the power of existing 2.4GHz Wi-Fi® networks to create a hub-free ecosystem. This simplifies installation with a completely wireless set up and reduces cost to the consumer by eliminating the need to purchase an additional smart hub. With the free FS Home App, the sensor sends push notifications and alerts directly to a mobile device whenever unexpected movement is sensed.
