CLAYTON, Mo. - illiNews -- Kirk Stange and Stange Law Firm, PC are proud to support Kids Rock Cancer on their 10th Anniversary. Kids Rock Cancer is an innovative program that helps children successfully cope with the unique emotional challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Through the proven healing power of music therapy, Kids Rock Cancer helps children combat feelings of anxiety, depression, uncertainty and helplessness.

The program provides:

• A vehicle for self-expression;
• A sense of self-esteem and accomplishment;
• A distraction from the physical and emotional pain; and
• A sense of joy and optimism.

Kirk Stange has been on the Advisory Council of Kids Rock Cancer since 2013. Since serving on the Advisory Council, Kirk and Paola Stange and Stange Law Firm, PC have helped Kids Rock Cancer in many different ways. For example, the Stanges paid the entire cost of the Kids Rock Cancer Webpage. The Stanges have also been a sponsor of virtually every major event that Kids Rock Cancer has held since Kirk Stange's inclusion on the Advisory Council. The Stanges are one of the largest contributors to Kids Rock Cancer.

For their donations, the Stanges are members of the Philippine Duchesne Society at Maryville University. Additionally, Kirk Stange now serves on the National Leadership Council at Maryville University.

In representing parents in child custody disputes, the Stanges have a soft spot in their hearts for children. Kirk Stange also is a musician and played in several local bands where he played bass guitar and violin.

The combination of being able to help kids with cancer through music was appealing to the Stanges about Kids Rock Cancer. This is what prompted Kirk Stange to want to become part of the organization back in 2013.

Being able to assist Kids Rock Cancer for all these years has been a true honor for the Stanges. They Stanges are thrilled that Kids Rock Cancer is about to reach their 10th Anniversary of helping children with cancer through music therapy.
