A Chicago Southland voice on self-worth, leadership, and moving from "chameleon" to changemaker; national release September 20, 2025.

MATTESON, Ill. - illiNews -- Eternity Sledge, a transformation strategist and founder of The Multifaceted Collective, is a contributing author in the forthcoming Dear Black Woman Anthology, a national collection of first-person letters by Black women to their younger selves and to one another. The book releases September 20, 2025.

Sledge's letter tracks a shift from blending in to building a life by design. She writes to her younger self about self-definition, grief, and the mindset work that steadies growth. "You are more than what they say you are. You are more than the mistakes you've made. You are loved, even when it doesn't feel like it," she assures.

Her work in the community mirrors those themes. Through The Multifaceted Collective, she equips Black women entrepreneurs with strategy, accountability, and peer support. She also leads Mirkat Impact, which serves at-risk youth with life-skills training and mental-health advocacy. Sledge's G.L.A.D. framework—Gratitude, Logistics, Audacity, and Delusion—offers a simple playbook for moving from chaos to clarity.
