NAPERVILLE, Ill. ~ On September 20, 2023, the Naperville Police Department concluded a month-long investigation with the arrest of Alejandro Urzua Jr., 25, of Aurora. Urzua was taken into custody after police executed a search warrant at his residence in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue.
During the search, officers recovered a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine, packaging materials consistent with narcotics trafficking, four firearms and United States currency. Urzua was charged with two counts of Unlawful Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 1 felony. A second subject, a juvenile, was also arrested but released without charges pending further investigation.

The Naperville Police Department reminds the public and news media that an accusation is not proof of guilt and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
