GAITHERSBURG, MD: Patton—US manufacturer of world-class voice and data network equipment and solutions—announces its newest addition to the SmartNode Session Border Controller (SBC) product line: the SmartNode SN11000 Series.
"The SN11K is the first SBC available that spans the middle-market gap," said Burton A. Patton, Chief Revenue Officer at Patton. "Call capacity scales from five hundred to a staggering thirty-five thousand SIP sessions.
"Finally, small, medium, rural, and Tier II service providers have access to an SBC solution that ideally serves their needs," Burt said.

- Management Tools. Rich analytic and diagnostic tools provide insights into operational as well as business data, empowering providers with actionable information.
- Transcoding. Cost-effective, license-based transcoding for up to 3000 sessions—without expensive DSP resources—provides significant cost savings.
