Safeguard Self Storage announces the opening of a new facility in the Chicago market on North Northwest Highway in Edison Park. This is the company's 16th facility in the Chicago metropolitan market area and its 73rd nation.

Safeguard Self Storage is increasing its strong presence in the Chicago metropolitan market with this new facility. With 874 storage units in 70,855 Rentable Square Feet of storage space, it is located about eight miles west of the company's Uptown facility and about six miles northeast of its Des Plaines facility. It is exceptionally well located for the 90,000 people who live in the two-mile trade area.
Similar to Safeguard's 72 other facilities nationwide, the Edison Park facility is designed with a focus on convenience and customer service. Amenities at this location include air-conditioned storage units as well as a convenient drive-in loading area. The building also has a state of the art SecurGuard Bluetooth System with smart phone enabled access to the building, storage areas and storage units via electronic door locks.
