AURORA, Ill., June 7, 2024 ~ Naperville, IL- Scientel Solutions (Scientel) held their 7th annual Putting for Veterans Golf outing at White Eagle Golf Club earlier this week. The event was a huge success, raising an impressive $120,000 for local Veteran organizations.
The tournament, which has become a highly anticipated event in the community, saw an increase in funds raised compared to previous years. This year's total marks the most successful year for the event thus far.
According to Nelson Santos, Founder and CEO of Scientel Solutions, the team works tirelessly each year to make the event bigger and better. They continuously add new components in an effort to raise more funds for local Veteran organizations.
"Through community involvement and philanthropy, Scientel Solutions is able to give back to those who need it most," said Santos. "It is because of events like Putting for Veterans and our sponsors that we are able to support our local Veterans. We are very grateful to once again have the opportunity to bring together local businesses in support of this noble and worthy cause."
In addition to hosting the golf tournament, the fundraising event also included a special presentation by the Quilt of Valor Foundation. Four area veterans were honored with a Quilt of Valor at this year's ceremony.
