CHICAGO, Sept. 10, 2025 ~ Chicago-based Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) has announced its plans to expand its Medicare Advantage offerings to 948 counties in 30 states and the District of Columbia. This expansion is made possible by HCSC's recent acquisition of a Medicare business in March 2025.
With this expansion, HCSC will now offer Medicare Advantage plans in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon,Pennsylvania,South Carolina,Tennessee,Texas,Utah,Virginia,Washingto n,and the District of Columbia.
According to Stephen Harris,the president of government markets at HCSC,"We are continuing to ensure our members receive the highest quality of care and service while we scale the business and become a company with a strong national Medicare presence."

The 2026 Medicare Advantage product offerings have been designed by HCSC to provide customers with a wide range of choices that fit their lifestyle,budget,and health status. In addition to Medicare Advantage plans,the company also offers standalone Medicare prescription drug plans (PDP) in 48 states and Puerto Rico as well as Medicare Supplement plans in 48 states.
HCSC is currently seeking all necessary regulatory approvals for its 2026 offerings. The Annual Election Period for Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans begins on October 15th and ends on December 7th. This gives eligible individuals the opportunity to review their current coverage and make any necessary changes for the upcoming year.
With this expansion,HSCS aims to provide high-quality care and service to its members while establishing a strong national presence in the Medicare market.
