Pet adoption, gourmet hot dogs, and Malört unite for a feel-good Chicago fundraiser
CHICAGO - illiNews -- This Saturday, Sploot Veterinary Care is teaming up with some of Chicago's most beloved institutions for a summer event that's all heart—and all bark. Join us on Saturday, July 26, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the iconic Wieners Circle (2622 N Clark St) for "Hot Dogs, Help Hot Dogs Find Homes", a spirited adoption and fundraising event benefiting the Anti-Cruelty Society.
This one-of-a-kind gathering will give Chicagoans the chance to enjoy gourmet hot dogs, sip on a cheeky Malört tasting, and—most importantly—meet adoptable dogs in need of loving homes. It's a celebration of community, compassion, and classic Chicago flavor—literally and figuratively.

Attendees who bring a donation of unopened dog food, cat food, or litter will receive a free hot dog, courtesy of Sploot. The first 25 donors will also walk away with Sploot swag and exclusive giveaways. And for those ready to open their hearts and homes, Sploot is raising the stakes: anyone who adopts a dog at the event will receive an entire year of free wellness care—including exams, vaccines, and preventative services—available at any of Sploot's 4 clinics.
Beyond the adoptions, food, and drinks, guests can enjoy fun photo ops with adoptable dogs, and friendly conversation with Sploot's veterinary team, who will be on-site to offer pet health tips and resources. And with The Wieners Circle's signature sass and Chicago-style charm in full swing, this pet-friendly block party promises something for everyone—two- and four-legged alike.
"This event brings together the best of Chicago—great food, strong community, meaningful collaborations, and a shared love for animals," said Gil Bolotin, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Sploot Veterinary Care. "It's a fun, approachable way to make a real difference in the lives of pets who deserve a second chance."
