CHICAGO - illiNews -- Spur Chicago, a nonprofit committed to intergenerational empowerment, announces the official launch of M⁴PowerED™, a holistic framework designed to cultivate purpose and resilience in underserved communities.
Shaman Cortez and Jessica "JesSoul" Carter, co-founders of Spur Chicago, shared:
"We believe that when people M⁴PowerED™ is our way of equipping community members from the inside out, enabling them to thrive through life's challenges.
M⁴PowerED™ (pronounced "Empowered") is based on four foundational pillars:
"As young adults, Shaman and I both experienced the challenges of growing up in communities lacking access to holistic development. We created Spur and the M⁴PowerED™ framework to ensure that every individual in our care encounters the life-changing guidance that we once needed but did not have." – JesSoul Carter

Spur Chicago partners with schools, employers, wellness providers, and other agencies to implement M⁴PowerED™ into curricula, workplaces, and reentry programs.
