IL Extremist are targeting media and journalists to discredit their stories
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. - illiNews -- The Illinois Reporter ™ and its subsidiaries including Bolingbrook Reporter™, Macomb Reporter™, and Will County Reporter™ are reporting they have been the target of Corporate and Cyber Espionage, Intellectual Property Infringement, Fraud, Extortion, Spying and Cybercrimes which include Identity Theft, Hacking, Stochastic Terrorism, Severe and Repeat Harassment, Witness intimidation, and Electronic Spying.
The lead journalists are also reporting personal hacked of banking accounts, websites, emails, social media pages and more to obtain private company secrets and an attempt at a hostile takeover of their companies.
The editor, Bonnie Kurowski, stated, "We are entitled to Freedom of the Press. We are being attacked personally, so are the businesses. and our social media. We will pursue this criminally and as quickly as possible to continue to report on IL Politics."

The Illinois Reporter manager Jeff Groot posted that someone is using their ™names, ©logos, and ©images to post malicious content and spam with click bait, pointing at a competitor's page. On social media they are setting up spoofed and cloned sites, hundreds of fake profiles, and leaving fraudulent reviews, attempting to access company sites, and wreak havoc like posting that Illinois Reporters companies are closed and other defamatory and extortion posts. Groot feel this is being done by a competitor and those who are trying to silence their stories regarding extremism impacting local government bodies.
The company has stated that since the reporting of espionage to law enforcement, they are now being subjected to releases of personal and private information about their journalists, extortion, false light, defamation, and retaliation to a victim.
