The Re-Introduction to Artist Lili K After a Four Year Hiatus in Music

CHICAGO - May 10, 2019 - illiNews -- It's been four years since Jazz, Soul, R&B artist Lili K has released a body of work and today, she is proud to present "Songs With Friends" that is now streaming on all online music platforms. The EP features The O'My's, Klassik, B-Free, Evan Lane, and Air Credits and is produced by Lili K and the artists featured. This 5 song EP is a special project as Lili K has been on a journey to getting back to herself and falling back in love with music. "Mentally, emotionally, professionally, personally; I had to figure my life out. I had to take a step back from the industry and fall in love with myself as a human because I was unhappy and depressed but then decided to make a change". As May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Lili K is also an artist who doesn't shy away from speaking her truth, speaking on her past and how she has made strides to get into a better place mentally and is looking to be a voice behind owning your truth and showing expression.

When asked about coming back to music, Lili states "After not releasing any music for several years, I decided that I needed to create something for FUN; I needed to create music just for the sake of creating music. I landed on the idea of making an EP full of collaborations with my friends; from my two hometowns; Milwaukee and Chicago. I am proud of this body of work and more so very excited to share with the world."

In the future, Lili K will be releasing her second studio album titled "Planet Of Flowers", which will serve as the follow up to her debut album "Ruby" which was released in 2015.
