Customers can now connect TrueDialog's APIs to other APIs for truly native texting
AUSTIN, Texas - illiNews -- TrueDialog, a leading enterprise-grade SMS/texting software provider, was recently approved as a connector in the Microsoft Power App platform after a rigorous acceptance process. TrueDialog already connects with Microsoft Dynamics and other CRMs, such as Salesforce, and now, through Microsoft Power App, users can connect TrueDialog's APIs to other popular software APIs.
With Microsoft Power App, users can text natively from connected applications, eliminating the need to text in another window or popup box via a third-party application. Instead, all text threads live with their customer record, providing a more holistic view of the customer and giving multiple agents the ability to join in a text conversation thread for a seamless customer experience.
"At TrueDialog, we are always innovating and going where the data lives," says John Wright, CEO at TrueDialog. "With texting, phone numbers are king, so we are excited to expand our footprint to Microsoft Office 365, where Outlook holds customer contact information. With Power App, users can easily connect other software to TrueDialog's many APIs. The efficiency and productivity gains are significant, as are the benefits of having emails and text messages stored together instead of in disconnected systems."

When customers register with TrueDialog via the Microsoft Power App platform, Microsoft emails an API key and Secret Code and the customer can begin using the connector immediately to send SMS texts to single or multiple recipients via long code and short code numbers. Any type of text message is possible, including notifications, alerts, information, customer service reminders, and marketing and sales messages.
Microsoft Power App allows users to connect TrueDialog to any Microsoft or non-Microsoft application, giving enterprises, small businesses and higher education institutions the ability to text natively within those applications for both internal and external text communications. SMS is a powerful marketing tool, as 65 percent of Americans say they feel more secure interacting with brands via SMS, according to Pew Research.
"No other messaging medium is as effective as SMS in its reach," says Wright. "We want to ensure companies and higher education institutions can leverage its potential in the easiest way possible. TrueDialog reduces the friction, costs, and deliverability issues associated with many texting platforms, and we are proud to be part of the Microsoft Power App family."
