The new 15,000 square foot space adds an additional 15 classrooms, library and recreational space.
WASHINGTON - May 8, 2019 - illiNews -- The University of the Potomac, a regional leader in higher education, announced the opening of its new 15,000 square foot campus in Tysons Corner, VA. The new campus features state of the art classrooms, study areas, library and student lounge facilities.
"The higher education space is going through a lot of changes, as prospective students look for convenience and affordability." – said Dr. Rick Murphree, President of the University of the Potomac, adding: "We met the affordability challenge by lowering our tuition by nearly 40%. The addition of this new campus shows our commitment to students' demand for convenience."
The new campus adds 15 new classrooms and expansive areas designed for both relaxation and studying activities. "This year we matriculate the biggest graduate class in our 29-year history." – said Ms. Andrea Ford, COO of the University of the Potomac. "As our student body expands, we have to continue to provide the high standard of education our students expect from us. The addition of the new space, allows us to maintain excellent student/teacher ratios." – she added.

Classes in the new Tysons Corner, VA campus start on May 4th and it is located on 7799 Leesburg Pike. The campus is easily accessible through Tysons Corner and Greensboro Metro stations. Additionally, weekday shuttle buses are available to and from the Metro from 8:00AM-9:00AM and 4:00PM-5:00PM.
