The leading provider of life sciences procurement and supplier management SaaS solutions marks a significant milestone in its journey with this partnership.
After conducting a thorough evaluation of the life sciences procurement technology market, Waud Capital identified Science Exchange as a standout leader. The company's innovative cloud supplier orchestration platform, delivered through a transparent SaaS subscription model, has gained traction among top global pharmaceutical companies and biotech organizations. Its platform digitizes procurement workflows and drives cost savings, streamlines supplier collaboration, and accelerates project execution.

Under Waud Capital's ownership, Science Exchange plans to expand its product portfolio, invest in innovative technologies, and elevate its market presence. Elizabeth Iorns will continue as CEO & Co-Founder alongside COO & Co-Founder Dan Knox and Chief Revenue Officer Tzlil Hadass.
Mark Layden will join the company as Executive Chairman under Waud Capital's ownership. "I am incredibly excited to join Science Exchange at this pivotal moment in its growth journey," said Mark Layden. Houlihan Lokey acted as financial advisor and Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal counsel to Waud Capital. Union Square Advisors acted as financial advisor and Fenwick & West LLP acted as legal counsel to Science Exchange. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
