NORCROSS, Ga. - illiNews -- The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) and UL, a provider of engineering training, research and safety certification standards since 1894, have partnered to provide "IISE-UL: The New Generation of Lean Six Sigma 4.0" web-based, customizable training.
"This partnership will enable IISE to deliver the next generation of online training," said IISE CEO Don Greene. "It will be completely modular and customizable. Six belts and five certificates will allow you to align training with your workforce needs."
The courses will offer 22 different modules, each about 30 minutes to an hour in length. The subjects include yellow and green belt certification programs and certificates in an array of lean, Six Sigma and lean Six Sigma topic areas including control charts, value stream mapping, waste, lean tools for standard workplace and root cause analysis. Training is open to all with pricing below $1,000, and discounts available to IISE members and IISE corporate partners.
