Major Auction of Illinois Farmland Set for November 9

KANKAKEE, Ill. ~ On Thursday, November 9, Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company will be conducting an auction of approximately 1,103 acres of Illinois farmland. The land is located in Southwest Kankakee County, Northern Ford County, and Northwest Iroquois County and is divided into 14 tracts ranging from 40 to 167 acres.

Managing agent Matt Wiseman said the land is suitable for operators or investors and includes 585 contiguous acres separated by a road. R.D. Schrader, president of the company, added that customers may bid on a single tract, the entire farm or any combination of tracts.

Schrader staff will be available to accommodate detailed inspections from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, and from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 26 at the Cabery Fire Department in Cabery. Details are available at www.schraderauction.com or by calling 800-451-2709.

The auction will be conducted at the Expo Center at the Kankakee County Fairgrounds in Kankakee at 1 p.m Central on November 9 with online bidding available by calling in advance.
