On Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at approximately 12:34 a.m., Naperville Police Officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Chinaberry Lane for the report of subjects attempting to break into vehicles. The caller provided a description of the offenders and a possible vehicle. While investigating this case, officers located a vehicle and subjects matching the description given at a gas station in the 3000 block of Reflection Drive. Proceeds from a burglary to a garage and several burglaries to Motor vehicles were located inside the offender's vehicle.
Marcos DeNiro Aguirre, 20, of the 500 block of Bangs Street in Aurora, was subsequently arrested and charged with burglary and burglary to motor vehicle, both Class 3 felonies.

A second suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant but was not charged in relation to the burglaries.

The Naperville Police Department would like to remind residents to always lock their homes and vehicles and to never leave keys, purses, wallets, phones or other valuables in your vehicle, even if it's locked. The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
