Northwestern Mutual-Chicago Plans Growth in Northern Suburbs

CHICAGO - April 8, 2019 - illiNews -- Marrying tradition with innovation, James Stinson, managing director of Northwestern Mutual-Deerfield has his eyes set on success. He recently opened a new office in the hub of Deerfield at 500 Lake Cook Road.

"The new workspace is an ideal location to serve clients while expanding our business through recruitment of professionals who want to be part of an innovative, high-performance culture," said James Stinson, managing director.

In 2016, Stinson was tapped to lead Northwestern Mutual-Chicago's northern suburban presence in the Northbrook office. While building on the firm's long-storied history, he saw a need for not just more space, but a workplace that was designed to foster collaboration. At the same time, investing in new technologies that could better serve clients became a key consideration.

The new office is the workplace home to 36 financial advisors and representatives, associates, college financial representatives and administrative professionals. It includes 14,000 square feet of modern office space with state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a lounge and kitchen for the team members, a wellness room, and space for educational training and workshops.
