10th Annual 100 Pretty Purses Benefit: Fill 2,000 Bags with Essentials for Women Veterans in Need

CHICAGO - illiNews -- Join us at the 10th Annual Benefit Party for 100 Pretty Purses for Female Veterans 501(c)3 on December 14, 2024, in Frankfort, IL, where we're celebrating a decade of transforming the lives of women veterans while raising awareness, donations, and essentials for those who've served.

This year, we're not only honoring 2,000 women whose lives have been impacted since 2015 but also gathering in-kind and financial support to fill 2,000 more bags with essential items and symbols of hope for veterans in need.

Led by U.S. Army Veteran Yvette Jones-Swanson, 100 Pretty Purses has dedicated itself to confronting issues women veterans face today—from homelessness to period poverty. With each purse filled, we offer more than just essentials; we give a message of solidarity and hope to women veterans who may feel overlooked. In addition to filling purses for those attending, donations will help us continue distributing bags to women veterans across Chicagoland who need them most.
