NAPERVILLE, Ill. ~ The City of Naperville, in partnership with the Illinois Muslim Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a workshop to teach participants about doing business with the City. The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Naperville Bank and Trust located at 555 Fort Hill Dr. in Naperville and is free and open to the public by registering at http://bit.ly/doing-business-Naperville.
Mayor Scott A. Wehrli said "Naperville offers many opportunities for companies of all sizes to contract with the City to provide services" and invited those interested to attend the workshop to learn more about how the City's bidding process works and how to become a registered vendor.

The presentation will include information about the City's procurement process and upcoming vendor needs in construction, public works, consulting and information technology as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives at the City. There will also be a question-and-answer session and time for networking, with participants able to begin the vendor registration process during the workshop if they wish.
Shafeek Abubaker, president of the Illinois Muslim Chamber of Commerce said "We are thrilled to partner with the City of Naperville to host this workshop reflecting our shared commitment to fostering diversity and economic growth in the community" adding that all are invited to attend to learn more about opportunities available for collaboration with the City.
