Senior Living Organization Acquires Tulsa Senior Living Community
CHICAGO - illiNews -- Skokie, Ill.: Covenant Living Communities and Services, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit senior services provider, announces the acquisition of Inverness Village, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Covenant Living received approval from the Northern District of Oklahoma U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court on the purchase of Inverness Village. The federal court approved the sale to Covenant Living during proceedings on September 19, 2019.
"This acquisition aligns with Covenant Living's overall strategic plan of organizational growth and strengthens our presence within the Tulsa market," said Terri Cunliffe, Covenant Living president and CEO. "The addition of Inverness Village into our portfolio complements our rental community, Covenant Living of Bixby, allowing us to serve even more older adults in the area."
Covenant Living is currently preparing for the transaction closing, which is anticipated in October of this year. Over the course of the next few months, Covenant Living will begin the transition and integration of Inverness Village into the Covenant Living system. Residents at Inverness Village can expect to receive the same quality of service and amenities they currently enjoy.

"We are excited to get to know each resident and team member at Inverness Village as we share our rich Christian heritage of more than 133 years," added Cunliffe. "We will be meeting with the residents and staff to answer any questions they may have, but first and foremost we want to give them the assurance our organization provides Inverness Village a solid foundation and a bright future."
Inverness Village offers residential living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care with 287 residents and 205 employees. All employees will remain on the job and in their current position. The acquisition makes Inverness Village the 13th CCRC owned and operated by Covenant Living.
