NAPERVILLE, Ill. ~ Naperville Investigators have secured an arrest warrant for Zokir S. Kudratov, a 55-year-old resident of the 2500 block of Saddlebrook Drive, on two counts of First Degree Murder. The charges, which are Class X Felonies, stem from an incident that occurred on the morning of July 6, 2024.
According to authorities, Kudratov was at his home on Saddlebrook Drive when he got into an argument with his ex-wife who also resided in the same home but on a different floor. During the altercation, Kudratov allegedly stabbed his ex-wife multiple times with a knife he had on him. Emergency services were called to the scene and the victim was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead at 1:49 p.m.
After conducting a preliminary investigation, Naperville Police Officers arrested Kudratov and held him at the Naperville Police Department pending further investigation. He was later transported to the Will County Jail after being formally charged and is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

Naperville Police Chief Arres expressed his condolences to the victim's family and acknowledged that this incident has been one of the most challenging and heartbreaking for law enforcement. He commended his officers and investigators for their professionalism and diligence in handling this tragic situation.
