~ Residents of Naperville are invited to attend the annual Public Safety Open House on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Public Safety Campus. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., families can enjoy a day of safety information, activities and giveaways as well as demonstrations by Naperville's public safety teams.
Fire Department personnel will conduct a water rescue, battle a flashover fire and extricate a victim from a crashed vehicle while Police Department personnel will make a mock traffic stop and DUI arrest, showcase the talents of the K-9 Unit, and demonstrate how they utilize drones and tasers.

Participants can also view and interact with police and fire equipment and vehicles, gather fire safety and crime prevention information, interact with police officers and firefighters, dust for fingerprints with a crime scene detective, learn the basics of calling 9-1-1 from real dispatchers, among other activities. Food trucks will be available for purchase during the event. For more information visit www.naperville.il.us/PSOH. The event is free for all residents to attend!
