Neighbors Encouraged to Grab Daily Cup, Chat & Take In Ceiling Fresco

CHICAGO - illiNews -- Logan Square West gains a coffee shop with the grand opening of necessary & sufficient Thursday, October 24 from 2pm - 4pm at 3624 W. Wrightwood Ave, Chicago 60647. All are welcome to attend and get a taste of necessary & sufficient's gourmet, inclusive, sustainable, art-filled 230 square feet of caffeinated bliss. Guests will enjoy:

•  Free samples of pastries from Chicago's Spoke and Bird, Gurnee Donuts, and of course gourmet coffee from award-winning, fair trade roaster Olympia Coffee. Kids get free hot chocolate with whipped cream.

•  Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Alderman Felix Cardona, Jr, necessary & sufficient Owner Kate Vrijmoet and the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce at 2:20 pm.

•  Live music from neighborhood artists Thompson Springs and Isabella Maria Reyes fill the air with street dancing for all until close at about 4 pm.

A portion of the proceeds earned in association with the grand opening celebration will benefit the Logan Square Neighborhood Association. Also, necessary & sufficient works with Friends of James Monroe, a group dedicated to supporting teachers and students at nearby James Monroe Elementary School.

It's designed to foster community connections through chitchat over perfectly crafted espresso, tea and children's drinks. A menu of delicious, local eats including gourmet empanadas by Fig Catering, Gurnee Donuts and Spoke & Bird pastries, is available in Spanish or English. All containers used by necessary & sufficient are compostable and recyclable.
