CHICAGO ~ Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) are thrilled to announce the upcoming 4th annual My CHI. My Future. Teen Bash event at Navy Pier. This event, organized by the Mayor's Office in partnership with the Chicago Park District and DFSS Youth Services Division, aims to provide resources and activities for young Chicagoans aged 13 to 19 years old.

Mayor Johnson expressed his excitement for the event, stating, "Out of all the investments we have fought for, it is our investments in our young people that I am most proud of because I know they will have the biggest impact." He believes that this event is an opportunity to show Chicago's youth that the city is for them and to connect them with resources and engaging activities.

The Teen Bash will feature a resource fair for teens, local youth performers, and interactive activities designed to promote youth development and connect teens to local opportunities for personal growth, learning, and engagement. The event will consist of two main components: the Teen Resource Expo from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and the Teen Bash from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The event will also provide connections for summer youth jobs, post-secondary pathways, and year-round programming for young people in Chicago.

In addition to the various activities and resources, this year's event will also feature exciting giveaways, including tickets to Chicago Fire and Chicago Sky games, a NASCAR Street Race, and Lollapalooza passes.

The Teen Bash will take place on Saturday, March 29 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Navy Pier's Aon Ballroom. This event presents a b-roll opportunity for the media.
