CHICAGO ~ Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has announced the addition of two highly qualified individuals to the city's federal affairs team. Dominique Warren will serve as the Director of Federal Affairs, while Santiago Ginebra Campillo will take on the role of Senior Legislative Assistant.
According to Mayor Johnson, these additions will greatly enhance Chicago's federal affairs operations and strengthen the city's ability to advocate for its priorities in Washington. Warren brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role. He previously served as the National Deputy Director of Government Relations at the Service Employees International Union, where he led federal policy on important issues such as climate/environmental justice, immigration, and economic policy. He also coordinated electoral campaigns for SEIU and worked closely with various federal agencies, including the White House.

In addition, Warren has a strong background in local government, having served as a mayoral fellow under the Richard M. Daley Administration in 2010. He holds a degree from Morehouse College and attended the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.
