CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Group an industry-leading, diversified, professional staffing, consulting, and outsourcing organization, is pleased to announce that CEO Leo Sheridan has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) as one of the 100 most influential people in the North American staffing industry. This is the second consecutive year for Sheridan to be named to the SIA 100 List, which honors leaders and visionaries whose achievements and dedication are shaping the workforce solutions ecosystem and elevating the staffing industry.
In 2020, Sheridan successfully steered Advanced through the challenges of a pandemic and economic uncertainty by transitioning its workforce from in-office to 100% remote within 72 hours of the pandemic declaration, enabling the company to maintain a steady revenue stream and its client roster of more than 900 clients. He shared this leadership with clients and industry colleagues by hosting informative, no-cost webinars on how this transition was achieved. Meanwhile, the company and several of its leaders continued to receive awards and recognition, including accolades from ClearlyRated for all of Advanced Group's four businesses – Advanced Clinical, Advanced Resources, WunderLand Group, and Advanced RPO.

At the height of the summer's civil unrest, Sheridan reinforced his commitment to Diversity and Inclusion by holding two all-employee, virtual town hall meetings for employees to openly voice their experiences and share coping strategies. He also continued to invest resources in growing Advanced's LGBTQ and women's employee resource groups.
In addition, several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives progressed under Sheridan this year, including the Advanced Community Works project through which employees made masks for PPE, and initiatives which help make a difference in the lives of underserved youth, such as the Cristo Rey Network program. He also served as Chair of the American Staffing Association Board of Directors and was a speaker at ExecuVision and the ISSA Chicago Chapter.
"These leaders have displayed tremendous skill and resourcefulness amidst the uncertainty and volatility of the past year, meeting the moment with grace and agility," said Subadhra Sriram, editor and publisher, media products, SIA. "From the deployment of healthcare workers to needed allyship at a time when diversity matters most to launching new solutions, these leaders are helping the industry to reach greater heights."
