ELGIN, Ill. - illiNews -- VISIONARY AUTHOR DIVES DEEP INTO THE UNDERWORLD
Reaper Debuts in Its First Event
ELGIN, Illinois. Release party event and book signing for the novel, Reaper, by Josh Price will be on Wednesday, August 14th, at 6:00 pm at Elgin Public House. The novel explores the Underworld and the connection between the mortal realm. Sci-fi fans will love traveling along with the gatekeepers.
After finishing his freshman year of college, Aaron finds a part-time job as security for a funeral home. He expects it to be an easy job but is surprised as his world is turned upside down. He befriends a zombie named Kyle and other creators that teach him about an ancient organization known as the Gatekeepers. The Gatekeepers' purpose is to ensure no mythical beings cross to the mundane world.
The Gatekeepers offer Aaron and Kyle a position to rid the world of darkness as they begin their journey in the Underworld. Kyle and Aaron must go to Hell and back to make sure that the world does not succumb to the powers of the Lord of the Damned, who will enslave the entire world if he is not stopped.

Josh Price is a local author who moved a lot between two states and found comfort in reading novels. With his bold imagination, he put it to paper and Reaper was born. His inspiration for the Gatekeepers series was the idea of what it would be like to have a conversation with someone beyond the grave. He's found inspiration from writers such as Stephen King, Kurt Vonnegut, and the Artemis Fowl series.
Price is currently hard at work on the rest of the Gatekeepers series, as well as a steampunk interpretation of Jason and the Argonauts. Reaper is now available to purchase in hardcover and eBook at https://zimbellhousepublishing.com/. The paperback version will be available on August 19th, 2019.
